# DIVAS: Maila Nurmi
B-movie scream queen and goth pioneer Maila Nurmi, aka Vampira, has passed away at the age of 85. Best known for her terrifying turn in Ed Wood’s cult classic Plan 9 From Outer Space, she was through with it before Morticia knew what to do with it.
